On this page, you will find videos that discuss diabetes basics such as: “What is Type 2 Diabetes” and “What is A1C”. You will also find videos that give you helpful tips on how to make healthy food choices whether eating at home, in restaurants or at family events. Additional videos include “How to” information such as how to check your blood sugar, how to take an insulin shot and how to dispose of your needles. We have also included videos that give you information about many of the medications used to treat type 2 diabetes, including insulin.
Each video is 1 to 5 minutes long. You can choose to watch one or more videos from the playlists at any time. We hope that you will find this program helpful and that you will learn the skills and knowledge needed to live well with diabetes.
