CARDIOLOGY
Cardiology is the branch of medicine that studies and treats the heart, the organ that pumps blood throughout the body. This involves the study and treatment of the heart’s functions, as well diseases or abnormalities in the heart. Cardiology also works with parts of the circulatory system, or the network of veins and vessels that serve as the pathways for delivering blood.
